What is covered?
The Emperor Paint 10 year guarantee covers Emperor Wood Waterproofer. We ensure that it will not weather off and will continue to protect wood from water absorption for a minimum of 10 years when applied correctly, as per our manufacturer instructions and datasheets.
If you experience any issues, we will provide a replacement of the goods to remedy the area where the product has failed free of charge.
What we need
It couldn’t be simpler. All we need from you is two things:

- Photo or video evidence of the failure, so that our technical team can identify how the failure may have been caused and provide full assistance on how to best address the failure.

We took Emperor Wood Waterproofer to a UKAS accredited laboratory to test how it would perform when subject to 25 years accelerated weathering. Is it easy to apply?
The beauty of Emperor Wood Waterproofer is that it couldn’t be easier to apply. Simply apply one-coat to dry, sound and untreated wood using a brush, roller or pump-sprayer and allow it to dry.

Wood sealers and other wood treatments reduce or completely remove the ability of water vapour to pass through the wood, causing moisture to build-up over-time.
